Absolutely love this little beauty! Well worth the money. I have a variety of different knives and a traditional knife steel but I think over the years that's ecome blunted and I don't quite get the same edge I used to.
With this you actually see the metal it's scraping off the blade to sharpen it and get a great edge that easily slices through even the softest tomatoes.
My only criticism is the suction. Maybe it's the cheap worktops the council use for their kitchens but I found it had difficulty sticking to mine, perhaps it maybe that it gets a lot of use and there may be trace elements of oil left but I tried it on a few sections and it still struggled. On the other hand, while at my mums where I had it ddljvsred I tried it there and it gripped extremely well so it's hit and miss

This is a small sharpener, but is absolutely fantastic. It is so easy to use and sharpens knives brilliantly. I have tried various manual sharpeners but could never get the angle right, so the knives ended up more blunt and I ended up taking them to my local butcher to sharpen, however you can’t always be pestering them to keep sharpening your knives. I even sharpened my Swiss Army knife which I use to open bags of feed and bedding for my daughter’s horse. Absolutely brilliant, easy to use and would thoroughly recommend.

This is a small item, but is incredibly good at its job. The suction cup holds it in place really well, subject to the surface being used (same for all suction cups really). The sharpener itself is really effective.

Ok... here's my take on this sharpener. If you have very expensive knives with different angled blades then this probably isn't for you. But if you've got very expensive knives then you shouldn't be looking at a cheap knife sharpener.
Personally, I have your basic kitchen knife set. This sharpener has sharpened all of my knives without any problems. This is a universal sharpener for universal knives. I don't think it's designed for bespoke angled blades.
If you have your normal kitchen knives, middle of the range, then this is perfect. Never had any issues with pitting.Would recommend it as it works.

Arrived safe and sound, so very happy to have another one, being a home cook I have knifes that my wife uses also this product is great because, we’re not stuffing up my Globe knifes when you need to sharpness, because we both use the Any Sharp we both get the same angel onto the blade this sharpener is so much easier and safer than using a steel. I had to replace like for like it’s lasted for ages. You feel safe using Any Sharp and you’ll get a great edge every time. Any sharp is a fantastic product, I would do more than recommend this product I have bought this for my elderly mother who still enjoys cooking.
