Delivery charges

Delivery rates are provided along with every product. All the products listed on Dickens Direct have no delivery charges for Economy Delivery. However customers can select express shipping options too from affordable rates. Delivery Chargers paid are non-refundable. 

Delivery Time

Any purchase made upon a non-working day or after the cut-off time (03:00 PM) will only be processed on the next available working day. For example. A next working day (The UK only) delivery order placed on a Saturday or Sunday would only be processed on the following Monday. Or if the order is placed after the cut-off at 03:01 PM will be processed on the next working day.

Standard delivery time for products on Dickens Direct is 2 to 3 days – although majority of the products should be delivered the very next day after order is dispatched.

We mean business days

This means we don't count weekends and holidays in delivery times.

A Note for PM shoppers

If you order after 03:00 pm the delivery time is calculated from 8:00 am the next day. Bear that in mind if you're doing some late-night shopping!

Delayed Delivery

If more than three days have passed and the customer has still not received the order, he/she can contact the customer care department of Dickens Direct to open an inquiry about the late delivery of the order.

  • We only deliver the item to the billing address. If you wish the item to be delivered to a different address we'd require a proof of ID as well as proof of shipping address so that we can process your order and dispatch.

30-Days Refund Policy

  • We always resolve all issues and all goods can be either exchanged or returned within 30-days of the dispatch date.
  • If you no longer want or need the product, it can be returned to us within 30 days in the original unopened packaging.
  • If an item is not as described, contact us within 30 days for a free replacement.
  • If a product cannot be returned it is clearly marked on the product details page.

Get a Protection on Refund and Our Returns Policy

  • You get protection on the refund if you make a purchase from us and want to return it for any reason.
  • Typically, it takes 3-5 working days to receive the refund/ replacement.  
  • If you buy a brand new product and remove its packing, we will not refund the full cost.
  • If an item is not as described, you can return it back to us. We will deliver you the right product or refund you if the product is out of stock
  • In case of express shipping/shipping paid by customer while purchasing, only item cost will be refunded while extra shipping cost will not be refunded

Package Inspection upon Delivery

Customers are advised to carefully inspect all packages upon delivery. If a package arrives in a damaged condition with the seal broken, customers are requested to refuse the delivery and clearly mark "Return to Sender" (RTS) on the package.

Reporting Damaged Deliveries 

If a customer receives a damaged package but is unable to refuse the delivery due to extenuating circumstances, they must contact our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the package. Failure to report the damage within this time frame may affect the return process.

Voiding of Warranty for Customer-Induced Damage 

If an item is physically damaged by the customer after receipt, the warranty for that item will be voided. Customer-induced damage includes any alteration, misuse, or mishandling that results in the impairment of the item's original functionality or appearance.

Return Authorization 

All returns, whether due to damage upon delivery or other reasons, require prior authorization from our customer service team. Customers must contact us to obtain a return before sending back any items. The customer support team will help them in the return process by sending them return instructions and also they will add the information in the system for the swift resolution.

Return Window 

Customers must initiate a return request within 5 to 10 days from the date of delivery, depending on the specific product category. Returns requested outside of this window may not be eligible for processing.

Original Packaging 

Items being returned must be in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and any promotional materials. Failure to return the item in its original packaging may result in a restocking fee.

Return Shipping 

For items returned due to damage upon delivery, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Customers are responsible for securely packaging the item and attaching the provided label.

Refund or Replacement 

Once the returned item is received and inspected, customers will be offered either a replacement (if available) or a refund, based on their preference. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Discretion of Assessment 

Our team will thoroughly assess the condition of returned items to determine eligibility for return, replacement, or refund. Decisions will be made based on the information provided by the customer and the condition of the returned item.
